Making it rhyme
takes too much time...
From now on it's only free verse

Chemtrailed...
Voice 3
The floodgates now open
The impulse awoken
Truths can be spoken
Facts just a token to play…
The fires ignited
The dowsing subsided
Bodies united
Godhead invited to stay…
Permanence transcended
A long silence ended
What fate intended
One life amended this day
The impulse awoken
Truths can be spoken
Facts just a token to play…
The fires ignited
The dowsing subsided
Bodies united
Godhead invited to stay…
Permanence transcended
A long silence ended
What fate intended
One life amended this day

Voice 2
Were you sleeping all this time
Or did I lose you
Or did you just step aside for me to grow?
Quiet hibernation…
Inconsolable emptiness…
Transitions to new beginnings and through inevitable endings
Drawing to a close only to begin again amid the search for meaning…
Positive growth counterbalances negative loss
A negative times a negative equals a positive…
I've not been lost but rather, just moving…
Turning the last corner I thought I heard you once again…
Have I been here before?
Have I slowed down for you to catch me?
Did you speed up to save me?
Or are we meeting somewhere new?
Or did I lose you
Or did you just step aside for me to grow?
Quiet hibernation…
Inconsolable emptiness…
Transitions to new beginnings and through inevitable endings
Drawing to a close only to begin again amid the search for meaning…
Positive growth counterbalances negative loss

Voice
I can hear a thing
a sound, in the distance
somewhat familiar
still very far away...
It could be moving closer
It could be moving away...
It could be waiting for me
to listen...
a sound, in the distance
somewhat familiar
still very far away...
It could be moving closer
It could be moving away...
It could be waiting for me
to listen...

Forgot My Phone
Forgot the phone
which really means
I forgot the camera
so no pictures of today...
Just memories
of birds and Cheerios
of soggy diapers drooping on the stairs
of I wanna chase you
of bratty, mean toddler girls (some must be born that way)
of having fun in the grass
of loving life
of being your dad...
it was beautiful
just like you...
which really means
I forgot the camera
so no pictures of today...
Just memories
of birds and Cheerios
of soggy diapers drooping on the stairs
of I wanna chase you
of bratty, mean toddler girls (some must be born that way)

of loving life

it was beautiful

Once a Wetland

Once a wetland, now,
Luxury…
Beware of methane though
And the monsters of wealth and privilege
And the mother's who ignore them
texting, talking, touting…
We come to play, snack, run and slide
But what you really want to do is swing…

We did make friends here that we love
So all those birds and plants and other wild things didn't die for nothing...
They say some ancient natives are buried in the nearby cliffs
choking on our spiritual pollution…
You know, it would really suck
if a tsunami wiped us out
while we were in the bathroom

Desiccated Cheerio

Good Day, Sunshine!
Five days of rain
Now here comes the sun!
Sun, Sun, Sun,
Here it comes...
A desiccated Cheerio under my pillow starts the day
Probably a month old, left by you or your brother...
Two-year molars emerging make you feel lousy
So sad, pretty baby, let's together eat the sun,
it'll make you feel better...
Mommy doing laundry with the boy and the illegal Chinese and Oaxacans...
They eat a quesadilla...
We eat the sunshine...
And you eat some sand...
You like the taste of this playground better than most

My Massage Therapy Philosophy
MASSAGE DOES NOT NEED TO BE PAINFUL TO BE EFFECTIVE

I am amazed at the many massage enthusiasts that are convinced that the more painful the massage, the better it is for you. If you are of that mindset, my question to you is, "If deep tissue "knot-busting" massage therapy is so effective, why do you need to keep going back for more?" There are many massage therapists out there that make you feel pain--intentional and unintentional--convincing you they're doing something good for you. And you believe it!
Well, you won't get that from me.
I pride myself on giving a pain-free massage that is as effective, if not more so, on your trigger points (knots) as the often painful "deep tissue" therapy you've been convinced you need. I do not do "light touch," but honest, real, healing massage therapy, with varying degrees of depth and pressure, according to the technique I am using on the part of your body I'm working with.
I release stress from your entire body, only going "deep" when your muscles are ready for it. That is why my sessions last longer than other therapists. I have never had a complaint about soreness and aches from my work. In fact, it's just the opposite. People are amazed at how wonderful they feel, inside and out, for days afterward.

We experience enough pain in life--physically, emotionally, mentally and spirtually. Why pay for more? Contact me at sv_cmt@live.com for a deeply relaxing therapeutic massage experience like you have never had before.

What is The Man in the Maze?

The "Man in the Maze" is a visual representation of the Tohono O'odham Nation's belief in life, death and life after death. It is said to represent a person's journey through life, depicting the story of each human being traveling through life as if journeying through a maze, taking many turns, while growing stronger and wiser, but always approaching death, as represented by the dark center. The twists and turns are also significant of life's cycles and eternal motion, and also of the choices we are confronted with everyday.
The person standing at the top of the maze depicts our life at birth. By beginning at the top and traversing the path before us, we journey through the maze, encountering numerous turns and sudden changes. As our journey through the maze of life continues, we acquire knowledge, inner strength and deeper understanding. Nearing the end of the maze, we can retreat into a small corner before reaching the dark center of death and eternal life. Here we can repent, cleanse and reflect upon all of the wisdom and truth we have gained. Finally, pure and in harmony with the world, we accept death, and eternal life is granted.
I am in the maze...
Somewhere in the middle, I hope...
Where are you?
